I love Angela Hunt's writing and although she follow the traditional line that the Magi were there right after Jesus was born it doesn't detract from the story. I didn't see the movie - it didn't appeal to me as I didn't think it was going to say anything that hadn't already been said. Enlightening and moving. Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2010. Just OK...not what I was hoping for...it was offered with a cd that gave the purchaser the impression it was the soundtract, which it was not, rather just various artists rendition of Christmas songs. If you are Catholic you should really avoid this book. It tells the story of the birth of Jesus, it also has descriptions and pictures of all the people who played a part in that event, (Mary, Joseph, the Wise Men, etc.) The reader is taken to understand what she went through after the angel told her what was going to happen to her.
